| If the Lord has used
this site to touch your heart with a burden for the United Methodist
Church and you want to do something about it, we are providing the following
suggestions for simple but effective responses.
Prayer is key for our
service to God. Pray for guidance as to your specific plan
of action and pray for the United Methodist Church. Pray that God's will
will be done for his Church.

|
1. Follow up on the
links section and news
section of this web site to become informed. Keep yourself informed
by checking the United Methodist News
Service regularly or have the news delivered to your e-mail box daily.
Subscribe to the new Jude
Newsletter through this form.

|
| 2. Inform others in your
local church, including your pastor about the problems in the UMC. Be accurate,
thoughtful, and wise in your approach. Do not be surprised if people do
not want to hear about the problems, be patient and do not overwhelm them
with too much information. |
|
| 3. If you attend an evangelical,
Bible believing United Methodist Church, propose that the Administrative
Council start a Committee on Denominational Issues . This committee can bring information and resolutions to your Administrative Council for action. |
|
| 4. Make connections with
other Bible teaching evangelicals in your annual conference. Many Annual
Conferences have a renewal groups. If you fill out the form below, we will
forward your responses to a renewal group leader in your Annual Conference
that we know of if you so wish. |
|
5. Be obedient to God's
call on your life. We all have different gifts and different callings.
Some of you may be called to a ministry to prayer. God may be calling others
of you to write or speak for Him. Some of you are called to work within
the political system of the United Methodist Church for change. Some may
have a burden to fund a particular aspect of this ministry or support
ministers who have lost their appointments because they have stood up for
righteousness. If you need more information, please contact the authors
of this site. God may be calling you to leave the United Methodist Church,
as he has called us to leave the U.M.C. after
much prayer since we
first put this site together.
2 Cor. 6:14-18
Do
not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness
have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? [15] What
harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in
common with an unbeliever? [16] What agreement is there between the temple
of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
"I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and
they will be my people."
[17]
"Therefore come out from them
and be separate,
says the Lord.
Touch
no unclean thing,
and I will receive you."
[18]
"I will be a Father to you,
and you will be my sons and daughters,
says the Lord Almighty." |
